The Story of Mayson Beauty Store

Mayson Beauty was born from a dream — a dream nurtured by a young woman named May, whose quiet determination and passion for beauty guided her journey.

After completing her secondary education in Malaysia, May moved to Singapore to build a new life. She began humbly as a store assistant, later working in a perfume boutique, and eventually as a skincare promoter. It was during this time that she discovered her true calling — a deep love for skincare and the confidence it inspires.

In 2017, just a year after welcoming her son, May realized her long-held dream: she opened her own little shop at Bendemeer Market. The name, Mayson, carries a special meaning — a blend of "May" and "Son," a tribute to her family and aspirations.

The shop quickly blossomed, becoming not just a business but a cherished part of the community. Through dedication, kindness, product knowledge, and genuine connection, many customers became lifelong friends. Despite the challenges brought by COVID-19, May’s resilience and spirit carried Mayson forward.

However, in 2021, when the lease ended, the landlord reclaimed the space to expand his own business. Though it was a difficult and bittersweet farewell, May’s passion remained steadfast. Her love for skincare was too deeply rooted to be extinguished.

Today, Mayson continues its journey online as MaysonBeauty — a testament to May’s unwavering belief that beauty is not just about appearance, but about confidence, self-love, and perseverance. Every product we offer is thoughtfully curated with the same dedication and heart that first sparked this dream.
